The Great Wines & Spirits department of Aguttes is pleased to present its spring auction, which will be extended over two days this time!
Indeed, on April 18th and 19th, we will present two magnificent collections, selected with the assistance of our expert Denis Bernard.
The first collection will consist of a complete wine cellar, belonging to a connoisseur, an enlightened amateur, and a lover of French wines. He has curated, around a core of classified Bordeaux grands crus, a true panorama of the wine regions of France. All these references have been stored under suitable conditions since their acquisition.
Thus, we will be dispersing no fewer than approximately 600 lots, forming a varied yet highly coherent collection, punctuated by prestigious names:
Bordeaux: Mouton, Lafite, Margaux, Latour, Haut Brion, and Yquem, of course, but also Trolong-Mondot, La Conseillante, Lynch Bages, Pontet Canet, Calon Ségur, Cos d’Estournel, or Montrose. Tertre Roteboeuf, Roc de Cambes, Le versant, L’orage for the wines of the Mitjavile family.
Burgundy: Domaine de Montille, Domaine des Lambrays, Bouchards Père & Fils (Vignes de l’Enfant Jésus), Armand Rousseau, Rossignol-Trapet, J.-J. Confuron, Domaine Ponsot, Raveneau, Dauvissat, Bart…
The Rhône with wines from Emmanuel Raynaud but also from Domaines Rostaing, Gangloff, Guigal, Vernay, Beaucastel, Usseglio, to name just a few!
The Loire with crus from Dagueneau, Clos Rougeard, Jacky Blot, Domaine du Collier.
And as a common thread, nuggets that punctuate this catalog like a panoramic view of the regions, including Languedoc, Provence, Corsica, Jura, Alsace. Mention Grange des Pères, Domaine des Creisses, Peyre Rose, Château Simone, Trévallon, Brizi, Ganevat, Deiss, Boxler, and many others.
Champagne with Dom Pérignon, Cristal, Taittinger Comtes de Champagne, Krug Grande Cuvée.
A selection of spirits including some good Scottish whiskies in particular will conclude this day.
On the Friday, the second day of the sale, we will present a collection from various cellars, yet again with a rich selection of approximately 600 lots.
For example, let's mention the magnificent lots of 6 magnums of Petrus and 6 magnums of Château Latour 2009, each offered in their original wooden crates.
Even though Bordeaux will dominate, Burgundy and the Rhône will also have their share, with notable lots such as 6 bottles of Chablis Montée de Tonnerre 2000 from Domaine Raveneau; 2 bottles of Échézeaux Grand Cru 86 and 88 from Domaine de la Romanée-Conti, a superb Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru "Les Amoureuses" vintage 2020 from Domaine Georges de Vogüé, or a very fine and complete collection of 150 bottles of Côte-Rôtie appellation, from the best domains (Guigal, Barge, Jamet, Ogier, Gérin, Jasmin...) between 1995 and 2015 and in perfect condition!
We are looking forward to presenting these rare bottles to you and sincerely hope that you will find your happiness among this varied and abundant catalog!
