Founded in Clermont-Ferrand in 1974 by Claude Aguttes, the auction house Aguttes today comprises a team of 60 passionate professionals, which remains its foremost strength. Over the years, it has risen to the rank of a major player in the art market. Remaining independent and family-owned, with three children actively involved in the business, the house is dedicated to the transmission of heritage. With an auction room located in western Paris and representative offices in the regions, as well as in Brussels and Geneva, Aguttes stands out for its personalized service and responsiveness. Its 19 departments, led by in-house experts and specialists, enable the valuation and sale of major collections, paintings, jewelry and automobiles, as well as works of art and exceptional objects. With a powerful promotional reach and a culture of performance, the house strives for excellence and regularly achieves world record results. Mindful of the trust placed in it by its consignors, Aguttes remains above all at their service.
