Creation of the auction house Aguttes in Clermont-Ferrand

1986

Sale of a Autoportrait aux bésicles by Jean-Baptiste Siméon Chardin (1699 - 1779), 6.6 million FF.
The international art market moves to Auvergne

1995

Aguttes establishes is office in the west of Paris to adapt to the liberalisation and internationalisation of the art market

2007

Sale of the André Lefèvre collection, which realised a total of €21.8 million, including Joan Miró's Blue star, which sold for €11.6 million (3rd world record for the artist)

2008

Establishment of a representative office at Brotteaux train station in Lyon

2012

Sale of a sculpture by Edme Bouchardon (1698 - 1762) for €3.7 million. Pre-emption by the Musée du Louvre

2014

Creation of the Fine Pearls speciality within the Jewellery department

2015

Sale of three paintings by the Chinese artist Sanyu (1901 - 1966) for a total of 9.6 million euros, followed in 2017 by a fourth painting by the same artist sold for 8.8 million euros

2016

Nomination of Aguttes by the Commercial Court for the sale of the Aristophil Collections. Over €108 million in sales; 335 pre-emptions, numerous records and three lots classified as National Treasures

2018

1st independent auction house to top the 50 million mark
Sale of a carnivorous theropod on the 1st floor of the Eiffel Tower
Sale of the Petau Hours, a book of hours used in Rome (circa 1495), €4.2 million

2019

Representative offices implementation in Aix-en-Provence and Brussels

2020

Sale The Measure of Worlds
Discovery and dispersal of a private collection of rare objects and scientific instruments by the Inventories Department. The sale totalled €2.5 million.

2021

Organisation of the Tour Auto Optic 2ooo anniversary sale under the nave of the Grand Palais Éphémère in Paris, which raised €2.1 million.
Sale of Albert Einstein and Michele Besso's Theory of Relativity: €11.7 million
