Learn about the lot before the sale
Before bidding, it is essential to be fully informed and to have a clear understanding of the good you are about to acquire.
Each department is composed of specialists who are experts in their field and available to answer your questions and provide all useful information:

Each lot presented has been examined and described in accordance with the Marcus Decree (March 3, 1981). Aguttes assumes responsibility for the authenticity of the good presented, in accordance with current legislation.

Pay for and receive your lot
Your bid has been successful? Congratulations!
Your detailed invoices are available in your personal account within 48 hours following the close of the sale.
Payment is made securely, online or by bank transfer, within seven days.
Once payment has been made, several options are available to collect your lot:
In-person collection
Transport arranged by your own provider
Shipping via transporter approved by Aguttes

Bid: a price offer made by a buyer to acquire a lot. Bids increase progressively according to predefined increments until no higher offer is made.
Buyer’s premium: fees added to the hammer price and payable by the buyer. These cover the services related to organizing the auction and are specified in the terms and conditions of each sale.
Commission bid: a bid left in advance when you cannot attend a Live auction. The auctioneer will bid on your behalf during the auction, up to the maximum amount you have set, seeking to secure the lot at the best possible price.
Condition report: a document provided upon request detailing the condition of a lot. It specifies any restorations, wear, or visible defects and allows the buyer to bid with full knowledge of the object’s condition.
Countdown: an indication of the time remaining before the closing of a lot in Online auctions. If a bid is placed in the final minutes, the countdown is extended to ensure fairness among bidders.
Estimate: an indicative price range established by Aguttes specialists before the sale. It reflects the probable market value of the lot but does not constitute a guaranteed price.
Hammer: the moment during the auction when the auctioneer awards the lot to the highest bidder.
Hammer price: the final price reached during the auction for a lot at the moment the hammer falls. This price does not include the buyer’s premium or any applicable taxes.
Live auction: an auction conducted in the auction room and broadcast live on the Aguttes website. It allows bidding both in person and remotely in real time.
Lot: an object or group of objects presented for auction. Each lot is described, appraised, and offered individually.
Maximum bid: the highest amount a bidder is willing to offer for a lot in an Online auction. The bidding system automatically places bids on your behalf in successive increments until the limit is reached if necessary.
Quick bid: a function available in Online auctions that allows you to instantly place the next bid according to predefined increments.
Telephone bid: a method of participating in a Live auction remotely. An Aguttes clerk calls the bidder from the auction room and relays their bids in real time to the auctioneer.
Online auction: a digital auction open for a defined period. Bidding takes place exclusively online, with a countdown specific to each lot.
