Founded in Clermont-Ferrand in 1974 by Claude Aguttes, the Aguttes auction house is today composed of a team of 60 passionate professionals, whose dedication is its greatest strength. Over the years, the house has risen to become a leading player in the art market.
Remaining independent and family-run, with three children actively involved, Aguttes is deeply committed to the spirit of transmission.

With its auction room located in western Paris and representative offices in the French regions, Brussels, and Geneva, Aguttes distinguishes itself through its personalised service and responsiveness.

Its 17 departments, led by in-house experts and specialists, enable the appraisal and sale of major collections, paintings, jewellery, automobiles, and exceptional works of art.
