Here is the English translation of your text:
After World War II, in 1949, Jacques Selosse founded his Champagne wine business. In 1974, after studying in Beaune, Anselme Selosse, son of Jacques Selosse, joined his father in the family business. However, Anselme Selosse had his own views on the winemaking methods to adopt. He was a strong proponent of Burgundian techniques, which focus on respecting nature and vinifying grapes parcel by parcel.
Although this technique is not typically used for Champagne winemaking, he implemented it nonetheless, with divine results. The Selosse estate owns around forty plots of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, the grape varieties necessary for blending Champagne. The Chardonnay parcels are located in Avize, Cramant, Oger, and Mesnil-sur-Oger, while the Pinot Noir parcels are in Aÿ, Ambonnay, and Mareuil. Anselme Selosse prefers to harvest his grapes at peak maturity and aims for low yields. This approach creates a Champagne with a strong personality and exceptional quality.
Only 57,000 bottles are produced annually, a true mark of excellence. Due to demand far exceeding supply, the house has implemented a rationing system to manage this high demand. We regularly offer Selosse Champagne bottles at our auctions, which have delighted our clients.
