On October 25, we will be holding our news sale of Great wines & Spirits. It will feature a wide variety of 657 lots, giving the catalog a coherence and homogeneity uncommon in today's auction market for this specialty. Characterized by the presence of some of the most sought-after references, this vacation has everything to attract the attention of the most demanding buyers.

  • For the Bordeaux wines, in addition to a superb vertical range of Mouton Rothschild wines passionately assembled over the years (lot 93 : 55 bottles from 1945 to 2000), we could also mention the superb collection of old First Growth Classés (lots 320 à 427) which constitutes the Brussels cellar of a large family of Flemish industrialists. The wines have not been moved since 1965, and have been carefully preserved through successive acquisitions (Petrus, Cheval Blanc, Margaux, Latour, Haut Brion, Lafite, Mouton...). A rare collection that we are proud to present for both its quality and its scope.

  • In Burgundy, the great names are always prominent:
Domaine René Engel with a range of different crus (lots 165 à 170).
    Domaine de la Romanée-Conti including La Tâche magnum and bottle, Romanée-Saint-Vivant and Vosne-Romanée Cuvée Duvault-Blochet (lots 1 à 18, 35 et 36).
Domaine Georges Roumier including a rare magnum of Bonnes-Mares Grand Cru 2008, 6 bottles 2011 of the same vintage (lots 291 à 296).
Domaine Coche-Dury with a fine array of Meursault and Bouchard, Méo Camuset, Anne Gros, Leflaive...

  • Other wine-producing regions, starting with Champagne, will be very well represented. For example, the Champagne Salon collection (lots 186 à 199), Cristal Roederer 1990 "cuvée 2000" Methuselah (lot 304) or vintage Dom Pérignon, including a bottle of Plénitude 2 (lot 171).

  • But the heart of the sale is made up of spirits, starting with a magnificent collection of Chartreuse (lots 204 à 276).
Whisky will be at the center of attention, as the cover suggests, with a mythical trio: 1977 Karuizawa Noh Whisky, three 1971 Vintage Single Malts (also 1981 and 1992), as well as the one that "lit the fuse" of the Japanese whisky craze around the world, 1987 Nikka "Yoichi" (2008 World's Best Single Malt). No less than 16 bottles of Japanese whisky (including Hanyu and Chichibu) that we're delighted to offer you, from the collections of French enthusiasts and collectors, who we'd like to thank for their trust.

Take the time to appreciate for yourself the quality of this catalog, which is not limited to the numbers and references listed above, but is well worth your time, so rich and exciting is it!
