In the auction market for timepieces, Paris has joined ranks with places like Geneva and Hong Kong.
To meet the growing enthusiasm of collectors and investors, Aguttes is pleased to announce the arrival of Claire Hofmann in this highly sought-after sector. As the head of the Collectible Watches department, her mission will be to continue its development within the Luxury division, which experienced a record year in 2022. A true globetrotter thirsty for knowledge, she didn't hesitate to pursue studies in marketing before gaining experience in the luxury world and completing her education with a diploma in gemology. Nearly 15 years ago, she entered the auction world and immediately specialized in horology, evolving within Parisian auction houses.
"This sector fascinates me because it combines history, art, and technology. I am very happy to join Aguttes to showcase new horological treasures."
