Highlights, Trends

Territorial network in France and strong presence in Belgium, Switzerland and Vietnam

Expanding its presence in France, Aguttes appointed Marie de Calbiac to represent the company in the western and eastern regions in January 2025, while Pauline Boddaert opened an office in Lille in March.
For the second consecutive year, Aguttes held a public auction in Brussels. Supported by the Belgian Aguttes office and now eagerly awaited, Autoworld attracts collectors of classic cars. This second edition raised a total of €4.168 million on 11 October 2025.

On Saturday 24 May 2025, Aguttes held its first auction in Switzerland, selling off the contents of a residence housing more than 300 pieces of furniture, drawings and paintings. This auction, led by the Swiss representative of Aguttes, was held on site, on the shores of Lake Geneva, and raised a total of €396,000.
Since 2014, Aguttes has already organised 49 auctions dedicated to painters who received a dual Eastern and Western education in Vietnam at the beginning of the 20th century. It was in the amphitheatre of the University of Natural and Social Sciences in Hanoi that Charlotte Aguttes-Reynier, under the auspices of the Association des Artistes d'Asie à Paris, announced on 7 January 2025 her plan to create an award to support contemporary Vietnamese creativity. On 7 January 2026 in Hanoi, the jury will offer each of the two finalists of the Prix de la Route Mandarine a gateway to an introduction to the workings of art fairs and a discovery of the world of contemporary art in Paris. l’art contemporain parisien.

Soon to be 19 specialities at Aguttes

Fashion and leather goods specialist Agathe de Drouas joined Aguttes in October 2025 to open a department dedicated to fashion and leather goods.
On 11 December 2025, she held her first auction, which totalled €320,164.
Aguttes also announced the launch of a ‘Folk Art & Memorabilia’ department in January 2026 with the arrival of Arthur Perault, to bring stage costumes and memorabilia that belonged to big names in music and cinema back into the spotlight.
From January 2026, the family-owned auction house will have 19 departments. Over the last five years, the auction house has opened six new departments.

Club Transmission

A networking circle launched by Aguttes in 2025 to bring together art lovers, collectors, market professionals, business leaders, investors and institutional representatives throughout the year, Club Transmission has already organised around twenty events at Aguttes and elsewhere, such as Paris Investor Week.
Through private tours, conferences, book signings, round tables and social gatherings, the club aims to raise awareness, introduce people to new ideas, pass on knowledge, open the doors to the art market and foster new passions and collaborations.

Team development
Aguttes is a family-owned and independent company that currently employs five auctioneers, four regional representatives, two in Belgium and one in Switzerland. In addition, seven experts and eight specialists work in-house across 19 departments. For many years, the company has also had three photographers and two graphic designers working in its Communications & Marketing department. Aguttes currently employs more than 60 people.
