Opening of a representation office in Lille and appointment of a Regional Manager for the West
Building on our strong regional presence in Aix-en-Provence, Lyon, and Clermont-Ferrand, as well as in Belgium and Switzerland, we are pleased to announce the opening of a representation office in Lille, led by Pauline Boddaert, and the appointment of Marie de Calbiac as Regional Manager for the West.
These new regional footholds will enhance local advisory services and enable the regular organization of valuation days in collaboration with the experts and specialists from the 17 dedicated departments of our auction house.

Pauline Boddaert leading the Lille office
A graduate in literature and political science, as well as holding a Master’s degree in Art History (specializing in 20th-century decorative arts) from the Sorbonne in 2011, Pauline Boddaert began her career at Aguttes. Passionate about the art market from the outset, she has remained in this field for 15 years, working in various roles.
« Deeply attached to my region, I am honored to contribute to Aguttes’ establishment in Hauts-de-France. I truly appreciate its rich cultural, historical, and artistic heritage. Lille and its surroundings have strong ties to art, particularly modern and contemporary art, as well as 20th-century decorative arts and modernist architecture, showcased in exceptional venues such as La Piscine in Roubaix and the Villa Cavrois. The region also boasts numerous paintings, drawings, and historical artifacts, reflecting its Flemish past and its former connections to the Burgundian and later Spanish Netherlands. As the key contact for Lille and the surrounding areas at Aguttes, I look forward to the discoveries and encounters ahead. I recognize the crucial role of auction houses in preserving this heritage and am eager to help bring greater recognition to these artists and artisans. »

Valuation, expertise, inventory, and consultation in your city or at home
Our free and confidential valuation days provide an opportunity to present artworks or valuable objects to our local representatives and the auction house’s experts, who will travel for these events based on the announced themes. Visitors will gain insights into the history and valuation of their pieces. Additionally, they will receive expert advice regarding inheritance, division of assets, or public auction sales. These encounters allow Aguttes’ teams to share their passion for art and, in some cases, reveal the rarity of certain objects. Our regional offices also facilitate and coordinate the transportation of items to our auction house, where they are presented to an extensive international network of buyers.
