The auction's top lot, the Rolex Daytona ‘Paul Newman’ Ref. 6262 ‘Dark Chocolate Dial’, captured attention by fetching an impressive €705,399.

This watch is one of the most sought-after by collectors, not least because of its unique ‘Paul Newman’ dial, with its three colours and chequered seconds scale, made famous by the actor.

Produced in the 1970s, this model is distinguished by its ‘Dark Chocolate’ dial, whose distinctive patina makes it an even more coveted timepiece.

Its rarity, impeccable provenance and exceptional condition have undoubtedly contributed to this exceptional result, consolidating its status as a masterpiece in the world of collector's watches.
