Leave granted to “Jean Fuchet, known as Reine, a soldier in the Mongin Company, to go to the Royal Hospital of Les Invalides, having had his finger severed by a musket shot at the Battle of Oudenaarde”. The leave was signed in Ghent on 6 September by Lieutenant-Colonel de NADAILLAC, commander of the Boufflers Regiment. Marshal d’Artagnan approves: “Approved for the invalids in Flanders, done this 25th September 1708”. On the same day, a note from BUEIL SANCERRE sends it to Tournai. The document is also signed by Louis de Bourbon, Duke of VENDÔME.
