TWO SALT SHAKERS

Oval silver mounts on openwork cloven-hoof-shaped feet, held in place by foliage motifs. The sides feature openwork decoration comprising octagonal panels and a rosette on each side. The rim is accented by a frieze of pearls. 
Probably Brussels, 1784 or 1794. 
Height: 4.5 cm.
Total weight: 129 g. 
With their blue-tinted glass liners.
