24 April 1950. He declined an invitation to contribute to the newspaper *Lettres du Monde*: ‘I do not agree with the way *Le citoyen du Monde* [Garry Davis] was handled. Without any authorisation, that newspaper reprinted a speech of mine which had previously been printed in *La Gauche* in a highly inaccurate manner […] I know I am not the only one whose signature is being extorted in this way. These are practices that rob me of all confidence, even on a globalist level, in those who employ them”…
