Four parts in one volume in small in-16 format, (2)-116-148-98-72 pp. 19th-century long-grained navy blue morocco, ribbed spine, richly decorated panels with perforated backgrounds, covers edged with a cold-stamped scroll and a gilt fillet, four large filigree metal plates with perforated backgrounds, gilded in the spandrels, a central gilded lozenge similarly decorated, the whole framed by small fleurons and cold-stamped dots, gilded roulette with cut-outs and inlays, pink satin endpapers and half-leather [R. P. Thouvenin] (spine slightly faded, minor scuffs on the corners and edges, a few discreet, sporadic foxing spots).

Mérard de Saint-Just may have set aside a few copies bearing the Bonhomiopolis address to give to friends, as the address differs from those given in bibliographies.

A very attractive little volume printed on Didot’s presses, bound in morocco leather by Thouvenin.
