Contemporary lemon-coloured half-maroquin with small corners, spine with faux raised bands highlighted by cold-stamped fillets and gilt roulettes, romantic cold-stamped ironwork between the bands (colour slightly mottled, some scuffing on the bands and end caps, a few small scuffs on the covers, half-title page slightly shrunken).

Bearing the coat of arms and crowned monogram of Louis Philippe d’Orléans.

Stamp of the King’s Library / Neuilly on the title page, gilt embossing of the grand arms of Orléans at the top of the spine, crowned initials ‘LPO’ for Louis-Philippe d’Orléans at the bottom of the spine.
