A lovely devotional manuscript with a beautiful frontispiece in pen and wash, in its original binding.
Entirely written in brown ink, with a framed text.
The frontispiece features the symbolism of the memento mori, depicting Christ on the cross with a serpent of the underworld coiled around his foot, alongside a skull and a tibia evoking the vanities of life.
