Magnin] (minor scuffs on the footed corners and the tail cap, transfer from the front cover to the title page, very few foxing spots). New edition, limited to 500 copies. A fine copy.

Orange morocco, ribbed spine, title and author’s name gilt, date and place stamped on the tail, ornate panels, triple gilt fillet framing the covers, double gilt fillet on the edges and caps, interior lace, gilt edges on endpapers, cover preserved [Chambolle Duru] (spine faded, slight rubbing on the caps and corners). A lovely edition with etchings after Arcos, engraved by Nargeot, in a signed morocco binding.
