A Yosegi-zaiku marquetry secretary desk, decorated with marquetry in various types of wood depicting floral motifs, fans and geometric patterns; the cylindrical body opens to reveal a writing surface surmounted by multiple drawers, sliding doors and various compartments. The desk rests on two side cabinets, each containing four drawers and supported by square legs.
