A set of two “kyokuroku” folding meditation chairs in red and gold lacquered wood, curved in a horseshoe shape with scrollwork at the ends and embellished with chiselled copper fittings. The backrest is carved with gold-lacquered saya motifs. The seat is in black leather. The back of one of the chairs bears an inscription.
