Two brick, anthracite and ivory "royal thrones", framed by four small ruby, cream and ivory mihrab "carpets", decorated with kotchaks and botehs, stand out on an anthracite field with small motifs, animals and Medes stars. Two large multicolored stylized floral compositions surround the ensemble. The main ruby border features a double row of opposing botehs. It is flanked by an anthracite counter-border with kotchaks, an ivory counter-border with small polychrome botehs and an old gold counter-border with a series of "S". Two-tone highlights. Beautifully elegant.
