Gallery Tour
On Wednesday, June 3, as part of the opening of the off-site exhibition, auctioneers Juliette Rode and Pauline Murat of Chasseloup Laubat represented the Asian Spring at the Aguttes offices located in Saint-Germain-des-Près and on Avenue Mozart. The evening provided an opportunity for Clémentine Guyot, Director of Asian Art, to present a remarkable Sino-Tibetan sculpture of Vajrabhairava in the 6th arrondissement, as a preview of the Asian Art auction to be held a few days later, while in the 16th arrondissement, Charlotte Aguttes-Reynier, associate director, signed copies of her reference book Modern Art in Indochina (published by InFine).

Cultural Program
On Monday, June 8, a lecture titled “Spring in Asia: Flora and Fauna in Asian Art” was a resounding success. A packed and attentive audience gathered to listen to the presentation by Laurent Colson, author of The Art of Chinese Gardens and Chinese Garden Art, at the Maison Aguttes in Neuilly-sur-Seine.
This special week, which allowed visitors to enjoy an extended exhibition of rare and previously unseen Asian artifacts unearthed from private collections in recent months, concluded on Tuesday, June 9, with an auction of these items. The sale of Lot 85—a bronze Buddha statuette from the Tang Dynasty (618–907)—for €18,368 illustrates the market’s enthusiasm for Buddhist statuary, a field in which Aguttes specializes.
